🌟 Concept
This creation merges the Eastern idea that “wood gives birth to all things” with the Western Easter custom of “eggs hiding surprises.” The wooden egg symbolizes protection and nurturing, while the cashmere rabbit embodies softness and new life—opening the wooden egg is like uncovering a small, warm universe nestled in your palm.
🪵 Materials & Craftsmanship
Wooden Egg Shell: Made of wood, hand-turned and polished to retain the natural wood grain and warm touch. The egg can be elegantly twisted open along the center line and closes perfectly.
Cashmere Rabbit Core: Shaped from baby-grade skin-friendly cashmere felt, hand-stitched into the shape of a curled-up sleeping rabbit, with a soft, fluffy feel like a cloud.
Detailed Design: The inner wall of the wooden egg is covered with a flocked coating to prevent the cashmere from snagging; a magnet is embedded in the bottom, allowing the egg to stand stably or be used as a paperweight.
